BATA CHILDREN’S PROGRAM FLOOD RELIEF CONTINUES

The flood relief project to two schools in Thailand carried out by the Bata Children’s Program continues. The poor kids of the second school in the Ayutthaya Province that we are supporting received much needed school supplies by the BCP team.

 

Bata Children’s Program Thailand – under the School Flood Relief Project - donated school supplies, school shoes and school uniforms to pupils of the Watpramoong School, A. Bangpahan, Ayutthaya  Province on Wednesday, 8th February, 2012. The Bata Children’s Program volunteers helped packing the children’s parcels. This school will be further supported as planned with the renovation of the multi-purpose school building, computer training room, library, and student canteen for a total of USD 20,000.

he Watpramong School was founded in 1935 and host pupils from kindergarten to primary school levels.  There are 9 teachers and 157 students under supervision of the Education Office Area 1 of Ayutthaya Province. Majority of kids in this school come from poor families living around the school.
